Our solid deodorant is 100% naturally derived...
Our new zero-waste accessory comes with a lifetime guarantee!
Introducing our 100% biosourced, bioplastic Oriculi, made in France!
Our new Oriculi is made from a sustainable, durable, 100% renewably sourced material that's derived from castor oil! You'll never need to use cotton buds (Q-tips) again!
This new design features a spherical finger rest and a small "spoon" at the end, making it easy to hold and use. We think you're going to love it!
In addition to being eco-friendly and sustainable, this material is also safe for children. The Oriculi is available in five different colours, so there's one for each member of the family!
The name "Oriculi" was invented by Lamazuna for this clever little, sustainable tool that cleans your ears and will save you from ever using disposable cotton buds again!
Our 100% biosourced, bioplastic Oriculi is one of our new products for 2020, and we're very proud of it!
After months of development, we've succeeded in creating a new version of our Oriculi that's 100% made in France! This zero-waste accessory is produced from an eco-friendly, sustainable and durable material. Its shape was designed to make it easy to use, and it's guaranteed to last a lifetime.
Every zero-waste bathroom should have one!
If you're looking for a zero-waste way to clean your ears, look no further!
All that's left to do is choose the colour you like best!
The spherical finger rest on our new Oriculi makes it really easy to hold and use. The little "spoon" at the end will remove visible earwax at the entrance to the ear canal. Don't go any further! Once you've finished cleaning your ears, simply rinse the Oriculi with clean water (or soapy water if necessary) and dry it with a towel.
You can use the Oriculi to clean your children's ears, but it MUST be done by an adult, in a calm atmosphere! Use the spherical finger rest to hold it firmly and stop it from going any further into the ear. That way, if the child moves suddenly, there's no risk of it touching their eardrum.
100% biosourced bioplastic derived from castor oil.
Rinse your Oriculi after using it and keep it in a dry place. You can clean it with soap now and again if necessary.
Our bioplastic Oriculi is guaranteed to last a lifetime. That's thousands of cotton buds (Q-tips) you'll never have to use and throw away!
It's a brilliant, eco-affordable, zero-waste accessory!
The packaging is made from 100% recycled cardboard.

We wanted to offer you a new improved version of our Oriculi, which is one of our most popular products!
After many months of research and development, we can now proudly present our new Oriculi, which is not only made from 100% biosourced bioplastic, it's also made in France!
Yes, our Oriculi is made entirely in France!
Our bioplastic is 100% derived from castor oil. The castor oil plants are grown sustainably in India, and the beans are processed in France. The oil then goes to our plastic maker, who's based about 150 miles from our head office. We worked on the 3D form with him, and he made the plastic injection mould on his premises. This type of machinery represents an investment of around €30,000 – which is 20% higher than the same machinery made in China. We made a choice, and this choice does have a financial cost, but it was important for us to minimize our carbon footprint and support French craftsmanship.
The bioplastic used to make our Oriculi is derived from castor oil. The castor oil plant has long been used traditionally in India. It grows in semi-arid conditions and needs little water.
Our bioplastic is 100% derived from castor oil, and the castor oil plants are grown sustainably in India. The supplier of our raw material has implemented a sustainable cultivation programme for the production of castor beans, which aims to support over 2,700 farmers.

The word "bioplastic" can refer to:
● a biosourced (also called biobased) plastic, which is derived from a renewable resource (particularly a plant material) > this was used for our new Oriculi,
● a biodegradable plastic that will break down into substances that are harmless for the environment at the end of its life.
At present, there are:
- bioplastics that are 1 to 100% biobased, BUT NOT biodegradable,
- bioplastics that are made from fossil fuels BUT ARE biodegradable,
- bioplastics that are partly biobased and partly made from fossil fuels AND biodegradable,
- bioplastics that are 100% percent derived from renewable resources AND biodegradable.
-At first, we wanted to find a 100% biosourced and biodegradable bioplastic. It's worth pointing out that bioplastics are relatively new materials and many suppliers are still very much working on their development. The materials that we tested and met these two criteria (100% biosourced AND biodegradable) did not meet our technical requirements. Moreover, biodegradability tests are often carried out on very fine sections of bioplastics (about 0.1 mm), so they don't actually guarantee the biodegradability of larger items, such as our Oriculi.
-We therefore decided to focus on a 100% biobased, durable bioplastic, so that we could offer you an Oriculi that was safe to use and could last a lifetime. If for any reason it should break (unlikely, but accidents do happen!), then it can go back into the circular economy and be recycled and reused. That way, there's zero waste!
Even though our Oriculi is made from a durable material, there's always a (very slim!) chance it might break one day. For us, it was important to guarantee that it would last a lifetime – which is why it comes with a lifetime guarantee! There's no need to keep proof of purchase to activate the guarantee either. You'll find more information in our Recycling section.
Whether you bought your bioplastic Oriculi from our website, an independent retailer or an organic store, we guarantee that we will replace it with exactly the same model if it breaks. All you have to do is download the pre-paid label, stick it on an envelope, and send your Oriculi back to us along with your address. We'll send you back a new one!
Now that we have a wooden Oriculi, you have twice as much choice!
The bioplastic Oriculi is light and colourful, and has a lifetime guarantee. It won't alter over time, and will appeal to children in particular. It's made in France from a biosourced, renewable material that's derived from the castor oil plant, which grows in India. Our bioplastic Oriculi is very flexible and resilient, and if (by some remote chance!) it were to break, nothing is lost, as the material can be melted and used to make another item.
The wooden Oriculi, on the other hand, is made from a living material that needs more care than bioplastic. It can alter over time and deteriorate when exposed to moisture. So it's important to coat it with oil now and again, to protect it. But the advantage of this wood is that it comes from trees that grow in France, making this Oriculi 100% French! It's a very beautiful, natural material, and it gives us an Oriculi that has an exceedingly low environmental impact.
J'adore !
