A new product for your zero-waste bathroom is...
A new shape, a new formula, a new sensation!
Our solid shampoo for oily hair now comes in a wider disc shape, which allows for easier application. Plus it's made with a new duo of surfactants, for an even more generous lather!
Formulated with a 100% French duo of green clay and spirulina, its fresh, botanical scent promises a really refreshing shower experience!
Plus you get 25% more product for the same price!
Wet your hair, moisten the shampoo, then either apply it with your hands or rub it directly over your scalp. There's no need to apply the shampoo to the ends of your hair. Massage your scalp to work up a lather, then rinse well. It's as simple as that!
Precautions and storage:
To ensure that your solid shampoo lasts for as long as possible, look after it in the same way as our other solid products. Keep it dry between uses by placing it on a soap holder, in a small storage jar, or in one of our mini pouches!
Free of essential oils, this shampoo is perfectly safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use on children under the age of five. PAO: 12 months. Even though its scent is irresistible, this shampoo mustn't be eaten!
A closer look at the 8 ingredients in our solid shampoo with spirulina and green clay:
5 ingredients that clean and care for the hair:
French spirulina powder (Spirulina platensis powder) gives strength and vitality to the hair thanks to its proteins, which encourage the synthesis of keratin – an essential hair component.
Blue/green clay (kaolin, montmorillonite, illite), rich in trace elements and minerals, oxygenates and purifies, making it ideal for oily hair. And it's French too!
Sunflower oil (helianthus annuus seed oil*) nourishes and protects the hair. It's more suitable for oily hair than coconut oil, plus it comes from Europe!
A surfactant (sodium cocoyl isethionate) cleans the hair while being gentle on the scalp. This ingredient is plant-derived, but because the manufacturing process involves a chemical reaction, it cannot be certified organic.
A secondary surfactant (coco-glucoside) boosts the lather created by the sodium cocoyl isethionate.
3 ingredients that give the shampoo its sensorial qualities and make it last:
A fresh scent with green notes.
Palmitic and stearic acids, which are fatty acids derived from olive oil, help to keep the shampoo solid and make it last.
Tocopherol, a plant-derived antioxidant (Vitamin E), prevents the botanical oils from going rancid. It's contained in sunflower oil.

By using our solid shampoos, you'll avoid using liquid shampoos in plastic bottles. What's more, they last even longer than the liquid version, and you won't waste a single drop!
We put a lot of thought and care into our formulas to ensure that they're as natural as possible. We wanted to use a gentle, sulphate-free surfactant that was compatible with the manufacturing process for a solid cosmetic, as well as product usage. It had to have excellent cleansing properties and produce a good lather, and also be plant-derived and easily biodegradable. For us, the only surfactant that met all these criteria was SCI, which combines naturalness with pleasure of use and effectiveness. It means that our shampoos cannot be certified COSMOS Organic, but we felt this was the right decision. We also sourced our green clay and – even more importantly – our spirulina powder in France, to keep our ingredients as local as possible!
At Lamazuna, all our products are designed to be zero waste, and we take into account every stage in their life cycle to ensure that they're as environmentally friendly as possible. Our packaging is made from recyclable cardboard (because we can't send our products to you naked, but you can recycle the boxes of course!). And if you want to avoid packaging altogether, you can buy our products loose at the Lamazuna store in Paris and from many of our retailers.
This can happen sometimes. When your hair is used to chemical products, it tends to "suck up" the chemicals. Because it's not used to natural hair products, it takes a while to adjust and goes through a sort of "detox" process. This explains why it might seem like your hair is badly rinsed. When you switch to a natural shampoo, you have to get through this difficult detox period, but it's worth it in the end! In the meantime, you could always rinse your hair with a vinegar and water solution, or use an apple cider vinegar rinse to solve the problem until it goes away naturally – which it will!
No need to panic!
You don't have to rub the shampoo directly over your hair. You could also rub it between your hands, like a soap, and then apply it!
We have a little tip too... Lean your head forward so you can really work the shampoo into the roots and spread it over your scalp. There's no need to rub it through the lengths of your hair, as they'll be washed when you rinse the shampoo off!
This depends on factors such as whether your hair is long, thick, short, etc. However, it should last for as long as two bottles of liquid shampoo. :)
Coconut oil does not strip plant-based hair dye from your hair. Quite the opposite ! It's actually recommended that you apply coconut oil to colour-treated hair to hydrate and revitalize it.
What's more, our shampoos don't contain sulphates, so they're perfectly compatible with colour-treated hair. :)
No, there are no silicones in our shampoos !
Our shampoos weigh approximately 55 grams.
Our shampoos have a pH between 5.0 and 6.0.
